Launched in 1993, the prestigious Accredited Quality Contractor program is open to ABC contractor members earning Gold, Platinum, or Diamond levels that have been in business for a minimum of three years. ABC’s STEP Safety Management System provides member contractors with a framework for measuring safety data and benchmarking with industry peers. Founded more than three decades ago, STEP dramatically improves safety performance among construction industry participants, with top performers achieving incident rates more than six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics industry average.
